Kim is an abstract impressionist from Tasmania, drawn to the vibrant interplay of colour and emotion. Working primarily with acrylic, she often enhances her work with hand stitching, spray paint, and oil pastel. A self-taught artist with a background in photography and graphic design, her intuitive approach to colour and composition creates dynamic, expressive pieces.

Bold stripes and vivid colours define her work, contrasting structured backgrounds with flowing florals to capture the balance between order and spontaneity in nature. Inspired by everyday beauty—whether the curve of a petal, a vast landscape, or shifting sky hues—her art is both visual and emotional, inviting joy, reflection, and connection.

After working in graphic design and marketing, painting became Kim’s creative sanctuary, where she fuses expressive florals, striking stripes, bold landscapes and layered textures. Every piece she creates is an invitation to pause, feel, and find beauty in the everyday.
